I hope that your year is off to an incredible start and that you’re moving closer to your goals in your music daily. It’s that time of year again, NAMM 2017 is approaching and new products are being announced daily in anticipation for this event. My first post of the year is footage from a live stream that I did on Instagram (@Altruwest) and YouTube discussing the announcement of the Akai MPC X and the Akai MPC Live standalone grooveboxes. This video is not a review but more so a reaction to the product after the initial announcement from Akai. This is a live discussion so you will hear me engage with other producers in the community on this topic along with discussions about other new products coming to the 2017 Winter NAMM show.
