Are you using Maschine to generate the midi notes or an external controller? Also are you using the template that I provided or your own setup? There could be a number of reasons that you are not getting sound, but primarily its a routing issue. You either need to change the batch midi settings in Maschine, or change the track midi settings in Logic to correspond to the correct midi channel in Maschine.

I have the midi notes showing up on the midi track but no sounds… Any suggestions?

Thanks for the tutorial F Major.

This video answers alot of questions I had regarding the first video however there is still one problem; When I press record the pattern of the drum kit in the recording grid on the maschine plays in the background instead of the sounds from the pads Im hitting.

How do I solve this problem I just want to record the sounds and not hear the whole drum kit playing. The first track is: .aupreset and the second one is Maschine 2. when I press record and start hitting the pads the events are recorded inside the daw (logic) however the entire drum kit in .aupreset also starts playing. I loaded 3 different drum kits into groups: A, B and C.

Please help me.

Really enjoyed the video! Great information! I caught on to everything pretty quick no issues…

My question has to do with the Note Repeat funtion inside Maschine am I able to still use this function somehow?

The Massive Template doesn’t appear to have a function like this, so is there a way to: use Maschine as a plug in or stand alone, record using the Note Repeat function on both drums and instruments, drag and drop Midi notes or midi sounds to a specified Midi Channel, with all of this falling in to place and working?

Sound Midi Batch Setup always applies to a single group and never to all groups by design. Please make sure that you change the track midi channel in Logic to correspond to your Sound Midi Batch setup in Maschine.

I’m not certain regarding the Emagic Logic Compatibility. First things first, make sure your computer meets the minimum requirements for Maschine as stated on the Native Instruments website.

I know the last answers are from March but I am having the same problem here with Maschine Mikro MK2 and the latest machine software in Logic. Changing the number of the channel always applies to all groups. It is impossible to set the first group to Channel1, the second to 2 etc.
Has anyone of you already found out why that happens and how I can avoid it? I would like to dio my setup exactly like in your tutorial ,but it is not possible. Best regards and thanks so much for your great work!
