    Hey F-Major
Thanks so much for this man. Ive watched it about a half a dozen times since getting Maschine and i didnt really get what you were saying at first. I kept trying to force it into Logic and getting frustrated. So i finally challeneged myself to make an entire remix in Maschine so i split the stems up into many samples and exported them out of Logic as seperate files that I systematically organized into groups for Maschine.
Within an hour a really organic an interesting groove began to emerge and I was amazed. I kept hearing your words about getting away from the linear mindframe of composing and I got it. To me its almost as if you were sculpting a piece. You constatntly move around it. Checking this angle and that and really seeing it as a whole instead of overly focusing on one small section and neglecting the vibe and feel. You work on one scene, jump over to another to hear how that sounds against it, make an adjustment, play them together. Try flipping them around. Swapping out patterns. You can do this so smoothly and quickly. It didnt make composing easier per se it just focused the creative energy in the right direction and forced me to be fluid and wide open to the happy accidents. You just cannot move this fast in Logic (as much as I love it).
Sorry to be so wordy. Its just been on my to do list to write and thank you for this.
This is one of the most useful videos I’ve ever watched in the field of music production. Much appreciated!

Sick track Major! I would like you to go through a simple track on machine so I can get a better feel on these scenes. If you could show it on the screen as you do it that would be cool. thanks bro

Major, First and foremost I appreciate the knowledge you spread to the people. Just curious. What’s your musical background? Did you study music theory in depth after learning to play your instruments, or was it just a trial and error process? Anyway the track is ON FIRE! I can’t keep this one out of my head for 5 minutes. Flawless arrangemts and sound selection! Peace.
